Oil Painting Class2-day Workshop –Beg’g Oils with Kathy Mock

Wed.-Thurs. ~ Sept. 16-17 ~ 10am-3pm

oil paints boxOil paints have been most artists’ first choice for hundreds of years, with good reason. The colors are gorgeous, you can do anything with them and they last forever. Oil paint is slow drying so you can remove what you don’t like while it’s wet, or you can paint over it when it’s dry. And oil paint is easy to use once you learn the basics. Instructor Kathy Mock has been painting for over 40 years and will guide you as you create your first canvas. You will learn everything from the preparation of the canvas through completion of your painting. This special 2-day workshop is set up to provide you with all materials, including a palette of paints, a canvas, brushes you may borrow and cleaning materials.  Minimum of 5 students, so please enroll today by calling  706-635-5605.
Sept. 16-17 ~ 10am-3pm ~ $110/$99 members, includes all supplies
